How to remove the dashboard gps plate/mount from your car?
i have a garmin gps and i put the black circular disc ( with a white sticky side and a side to for the Suction Cup of the gps mount)
how do i safely remove it without damaging my dashboard? its stuck on there pretty tightly.
Actually, I know of two ways to do it. Wait for a nice hot day and gently pull up on the plate with your fingers, if it’s nice and hot, the glue should let go slowly and you’ll be able to get it off without damage. You’ll have some of the glue on your dash, but that will come off with WD40 or a product called “Goo Gone”.
The other method, if it’s not a nice hot day is to use a hair dryer to heat the plate and remove it the same as above.
